Antique Dollhouse Wooden Desk with Applique Carvings

Light wood desk enhanced with richly scrolled designs to simulate wood carvings - Turned legs and leather seat upholstery on chair.

The desk with cabinet niches, recessed mirror and two opening doors is 3 1/2"(9 cm) high. One knob is not original. Chair is 3 1/8"(8 cm) high.

This furniture was presented by the Parisian Department Store Printemps in its Christmas catalogue in 1882.

Small scale (1/2" to one foot).
