Antique French Salon and Dining Room Furniture with Rare Pink Silk Tufted Upholstery

This charming large size ensemble is upholstered with its original tufted pink silk and tiny yellow silk-covered buttons. The beautiful turtle-top shaped table with pedestal base is covered with pink silk with delicate hand-painted flowers. The set comprises a sofa, two armchairs, a table and four chairs all with ebony-painted wooden carved legs. All pieces are trimmed with silk fringed braid.

The sofa is 11 1/4"(28.5 cm) long, 6 3/8"(16.2 cm) high and 5 1/8"(13 cm) deep. Armchairs are 6 1/8"(15.5 cm) high and 5 3/8"(13.5 cm) wide. The chairs are 6 7/8"(17.5 cm) high. The table is 4 1/8"(10.5 cm) high, 5 1/8"(13 cm) wide and 8 1/8"(20.5 cm) long.

Perfectly sized for display with fashion dolls, early dolls, poupees or tall mignonettes.

Very good condition to excellent condition - Original upholstery with vibrant color, frail on one silk chair.
