Charming French Wooden Scroll-Cut Furniture - By Victor François BOLANT
This furniture of light wood with white painted finish and decorative decoupage of flowers, has the edges outlined with embossed gold-scrap borders.
This ensemble is fitted with original blue silk upholstery and matching trim. Included is a canopied day-bed with blue silk covers and fringed canopy, a mirrored armoire with elaborate scroll-cut crest, two armchairs and a side chair with blue silk seats and backs, a shaped pedestal table, a chest with opening drawers, original knobs.
Day bed 7 5/8"(19.5 cm) high and 5 7/8"(15 cm) wide. Armoire 6 7/8"(17.6 cm) high and 3 3/8"(8.7 cm) wide. Chest of drawers 5 3/4"(14.7 cm) high (including original clock) and 4 3/8"(11 cm) wide. Table 2 1/2"(6.4 cm) high. Chairs 3 1/8"(8 cm) high.
