Antique French Silver Plate Chatelaine Porte Monnaie

Lovely French chainmaille purse with lovely flowers and leaves decoration in the Art Nouveau Style. Lovely shaped and good size.

The metal detailing is an incredible and intricate work of interlocking chains. Seven metal beads hang down from the chain, no missing beads, lock is working.

The interior has two compartments separated by a chainmaile divider. The purse has a small loop on the back which would be attached to the Chatelaine belt of the Lady's owner or your Jumeau or Bru Doll.

Total high with beads 3 1/8"(8 cm) - 2 "(5 cm) wide.

Excellent condition.
