Antique Boxed Diorama - Farms and Pastures

A rare French diorama Fermes et Paturages with label of the famous Parisian Department Store Au Bon Marche. This wooden box opens to reveal a charming country scene, with cardboard houses and farms, lead trees and lovely painted wooden animals.

The Carl Horn dolls are the perfect size to liven up this decor.

Box 13 3/8"(34 cm) x 7 1/8"(18 cm) x 4 1/4"(10.8 cm) - Open box is 11 1/4"(28.5 cm) deep.

Rare All-bisque Polar Bear

The light grey, brown, beige and white polar bear has one-piece head and torso, defined ears, thick neck. It is pin-jointed arms and legs terminating in paws. The bear is very realistic, with details which suggest fur.
