Rare French Tufted Salon with Original Furnishings - 19th Century

This charming large size set includes 7 pieces. The set comprises a wooden violin shaped table, two comfortable armchairs and two chairs with ebony-painted wooden carved legs. The seats are upholstered with original tufted blue silk and tiny silk-covered buttons. The seat backs are trimmed with blue cord, and all pieces are trimmed with colorful fringed braid. Two interesting furnishings complete this set : a marvelous dressing or sewing table witch can be opened to reveal a mirror and a silk fabric-covered compartment for treasures of your doll and a chest of drawers with three opened drawers, original knobs and marble top.

The table is 5 1/8"(13 cm) high and 8 7/8"(22.7 cm) long. Armchairs are 6 1/4"(16 cm) high and chairs are 7 "(17.8 cm) high. Dressing table is 6 1/4"(16 cm) high, 6 7/8"(17.6 cm) wide and 4 3/4"(12 cm) deep. Chest of drawers is 6 3/4"(17 cm) high, 8 5/8"(22 cm) large and 4 1/8"(10.5 cm) deep.

Antique French Salon and Dining Room Furniture with Rare Pink Silk Tufted Upholstery

This charming large size ensemble is upholstered with its original tufted pink silk and tiny yellow silk-covered buttons. The beautiful turtle-top shaped table with pedestal base is covered with pink silk with delicate hand-painted flowers. The set comprises a sofa, two armchairs, a table and four chairs all with ebony-painted wooden carved legs. All pieces are trimmed with silk fringed braid.

The sofa is 11 1/4"(28.5 cm) long, 6 3/8"(16.2 cm) high and 5 1/8"(13 cm) deep. Armchairs are 6 1/8"(15.5 cm) high and 5 3/8"(13.5 cm) wide. The chairs are 6 7/8"(17.5 cm) high. The table is 4 1/8"(10.5 cm) high, 5 1/8"(13 cm) wide and 8 1/8"(20.5 cm) long.

Perfectly sized for display with fashion dolls, early dolls, poupees or tall mignonettes.

Early French LOUIS XVI Miniature Furnishing - Last Quarter of 18th Century

Very rare LOUIS XVI furniture. This furniture is presented in Henry-René d'Allemagne book Histoire des Jouets (Toys History) published in 1904. He explains that such furnishing was manufactured during LOUIS XVI reign (1774 to 1792).

The furniture is made up of beech planks simply assembled with small nails; externally it is pink/orange painted intended to imitate vaguely the wood of the islands; the moldings and sculptures consist of strips of paper cut and stamped; the entrance to the lock is represented by a small square of paper, and the handles and rings are small copper wires. Two opening drawers and two mirrored doors.

The furnishing is 16 1/8"(41 cm) high, 10 3/8"(26.5 cm) wide and 5 3/8"(13.5 cm) deep.

Excellent condition. Ideal for your early French doll !

The tea service in mercury glass, the porcelain dish with tragacanth bread, the embroidered table napkin are included.

Rare Antique Dressing Table for Fashion Dolls - By Badeuille

A very rare dressing table by Louis Badeuille for your fashion doll !

This dressing table of light-wood with natural finish, is decorated with abundant pink motives. This furniture has an attractive shape , original swiveling oval mirror with purple chenille edging.

Two French porcelain pieces of fine white bisque with floral design and gold edged rims are put on the table as well as a hairbrush.

Excellent condition, note a small lack on one back foot.

Antique German Biedermeier Secretary Desk for Fashion Doll - by Kestner

This secretary-desk of dark-stained finish to emulate mahogany and painted white borders emulating marble has a drop-front writing surface with its original green paper, nice interior niches with six opening drawers. It has also three other opening drawers. All drawers have their original metal knobs. The white columns bring some elegance and define the structure of this model. Accessories are included.

Antique Miniature Game Table with Draughts Board Top and Two Chairs

This very decorative oak furniture comprises a rare hexagonal game table and two matching chairs.

The game table has a draughts board on top, very nice shaped legs and turned wooden spiral on low centre . The straight chairs are elaborated sculpted with rare front legs.
